Project 365 - Feb 10 UPDATE: Hi Folks, sorry I have not been active lately. My grandfather is in the Hospital due to renal failure, he’s also fighting an infection so I’m spending my days with him at the Isolation unit. The 365 project is on hold until further notice, don’t worry, it is still happening, I always finish what I started.
Jan 27 UPDATE: Okay, all the photos went through the photoshop process, we’ve done some in photo home renovation / decluttering, clearing stray leaves, removed all commercial branded logos…etc. We are currently waiting on several commercial printer’s feedback, once all the kinks have been worked out, I’ll release the pre-ordering information, hopefully sometime next week. Due to good business practice, we’ve decided to change “project 365” calendar dates to Jan - dec 2013 (not release date). I know this change will disappoints a lot of you (myself included), but our main objective for all project is to raise a good amount of funding for rescues. So in order to accomplish that goal, we need very good sales, and the result will determine if there will be another 365 project in the future. I sincerely apologize for the date shift, project 365 is still a go and it’s happening. So what about those who missed the 12 month calendar and the 365 project? Have no fear, I will release the details for project “plan B” and project “edu” in the coming months. Project “Plan B” will have a launch date of xmas 2012, Project “edu” will have a tentative date of spring 2013. Stay Tuned!
Here are the finalists, pre-order info will be posted end of Jan.
Jan 18 UPDATE: Okay folks, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, thank you so much for submitting photos to MyCorgi.com, I have more than enough for the calendar now, so please give me sometime to sort them out. Considering tomorrow is my B day, I will not be working on the project at all, so the earliest I can post a final list for the 365 is Friday. As far as printing goes, it should take about a month (1K-3K will be printed), so the 365 calendar will start with the month of March / April and end on 2013 March / April. Again, thank you for all the awesome photos, it’s been a joy to work on this project :)
Okay folks, I’ve got good news and bad news.
Good News: I’ve got 2XX qualified photos for the 366 calendar, for those who missed the deadline, you are welcome to submit your photo with the guidelines on mycorgi.com, email it to mycorgi.com@gmail.com subject: 365 calendar, make sure you provide your dog’s name, city and state. As soon as we fill the 366 slot, it’ll go into print
Bad News: Due to the number of qualified photos present, the 366 calendar will be delayed, at this point eta is Jan 2012 :( I am so sorry, I really wish we can make it before xmas.
I will update everyone when the 366 slot is filled. Hopefully soon.
NOV 9th UPDATE:
Sorry folks for the long wait, the votes are in and we’re getting ready to print, if all things goes well, the wall calendar MAY*** be ready around the weekend of NOV 19th, you’ll be able to order online right here on MyCorgi.com, details next week.
As far as the 365 goes, there’s a slight delay due to my personal illness, I was in Singapore over the weekend and had a heat stroke, long story short, I’m back in Hong Kong right now, will be staying at the hospital today for a 24 hr observation ekg test, just to rule out somethings. Not to worry, I should be good by the end of this week.
I’m trying to make the best of this trip, missing my wife and corgis like crazy, should wrap things up and get back to North America on the 19th.
I am half way done contacting all the people who submitted their photo, the other half will hear from me by the end of Friday. If you don’t hear from me by Saturday, that means A: You are not MyCorgi.com member / B: You provided wrong member url info.
I will be flying overseas this weekend, so I’ll have no email / message until next week.
All members who followed the photo requirements / re-submit proper replacement photo, will have at least ONE photo make it to the calendar. I will address those who missed the deadline next week.
