Under the new law, pet shops, animal shelters and control facilities will also have to disclose other information. That includes the name and address of the breeder, retail price, adoption fees and vaccinations, among other things. Gov. Quinn signed the bill Sunday. He says the information will help protect consumers before they buy a pet.
